In this week's gospel Jesus uses a number of parables to paint a picture of what the kingdom of heaven is like.  But rather than describing the kingdom itself, these parables serve to paint a picture of just how important the kingdom is, and how much weight is ascribed to the kingdom for those who would cherish it.  What value do we place on God’s kingdom?
