The Easter good news reminds us today that Christ is risen!  It also reminds us that he is with us.  In this Sunday’s gospel, on the road to Emmaus, Jesus joins the disciples and walks with them, though they don’t recognize him along the way.  Is it possible that even today, Christ walks alongside us, right there with us, without us recognizing him in our midst?  Come risen Lord and reveal yourself to us along the journey of life, giving us eyes to see you especially in the unexpected times and places.
