Looking at this week's Gospel, we begin by asking the question, “What are we to make of the miracles of Jesus?” Were they just one-time events to show His power back then and there? Were they promises that we can get the exact same miracles today as Jesus performed in His earthly ministry? We will explore the miracle of Jesus walking on water, calling Peter to join Him, and then Jesus rescuing Peter from drowning. What does that have to do with our lives today? We will find a very important meaning to all this.
